General Conditions of Use (CGU)

1. Purpose

These General Conditions of Use (hereinafter “T&Cs”) define the terms of access and use of the application (hereinafter “the Service”). By accessing and using the Service, the user accepts these T&Cs without reservation.

2. Description of the Service

The Service provides users with tools to assist in writing and reformulating texts using artificial intelligence techniques. The purpose of the Service is to help improve the style, clarity and fluency of written content.

⚠️ Important warning: the Service is not designed or authorized to circumvent academic regulations, particularly regarding plagiarism or prohibited use of artificial intelligence. The user is solely responsible for complying with the rules of their institution, their professional obligations and any applicable regulations.

3. Access and User Account

Certain features of the Service may require the creation of an account. The user agrees to provide accurate information, keep it up to date and maintain the confidentiality of their credentials. Any fraudulent or unauthorized use of the Service may result in the suspension or deletion of the account.

4. Responsible use

The user undertakes to:

  • use the Service in compliance with the law, regulations in force and these T&Cs,
  • not use the Service to produce or distribute illegal, offensive, defamatory, discriminatory content or content that infringes the rights of third parties,
  • not use the Service for cheating, academic or professional fraud.

5. Intellectual property

The algorithms, interfaces, content and brands linked to the Service are protected by intellectual property rights. Any unauthorized reproduction, representation or exploitation is strictly prohibited. The texts submitted by the user and the content generated by the Service remain under their responsibility and intellectual property, subject to compliance with these T&Cs.

6. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” and without guarantee of results. The publisher of the Service cannot be held responsible for:

  • consequences linked to use contrary to these T&Cs,
  • academic, disciplinary or professional sanctions resulting from non-compliant use,
  • any direct or indirect damage linked to the use or inability to use the Service.

7. Protection of personal data

The processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 known as “GDPR” and our privacy policy. Accordingly, users have the rights of access, rectification, opposition, erasure and portability, in compliance with applicable regulations.

8. Modifications to the T&Cs

The publisher of the Service reserves the right to modify these T&Cs at any time. Users will be informed of any changes by notification through the application or by email.

9. Applicable law and competent jurisdiction

  • These T&Cs are subject to French law. In the event of a dispute, and failing an amicable resolution, the French courts shall have sole jurisdiction.
  • Mediation: In accordance with Articles L.612-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, in case of dispute, the user has the right to free recourse to a consumer mediator: AME Conso – https://www.mediationconso-ame.com/.

10. Subscriptions and Payments

  • Subscription Plans: The service is offered as a monthly or annual subscription. Current rates are available on the application's pricing page.
  • Payment: All payments are processed through Stripe. By subscribing, the user accepts Stripe's terms and authorizes recurring billing.
  • Service Continuity: Access to the service begins immediately after payment and remains active for the duration of the billing cycle.
  • Withdrawal: In accordance with Article L.221-28 13° of the French Consumer Code, the user acknowledges that immediate access to the Service after payment constitutes full performance of the contract. Consequently, the user expressly waives their 14-day right of withdrawal.
  • Termination: The user can end their subscription at any time from their account area. Termination takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
